Philosophy Overview
Trained Brain utilises cognitive psychology, NLP, Sports Hypnosis, Inner Game and neuroscience strategies to promote peak performance.
The difference between two people is not just talent or ability, it comes down to how they think. The source of peak performance is your mindset and how you blend your trained skills with a trained brain.
“Every block of stone has a statue inside it and it is the task of the sculptor to discover it.”
Michelangelo
Trained Brain helps clients to succeed in sports, business, education and life by developing positive thought patterns and habits. Unlike psychological training systems based primarily on academic theory, Trained Brain delivers highly effective practical tools which individuals can action to achieve powerful results.
We have broken the mental approach into four key areas. Before, During, In Between and After. What you are doing in these areas will be the key to unlocking your potential.
As a generalisation traditional coaching is all focused on the DURING quadrant. At Trained Brain we uncover the patterns in other key areas that are limiting your success in the DURING.
What have you done today to TRAIN YOUR BRAIN? Are you putting resources in place to ensure that you perform at your best when you really need to do so?
Trained Brain’s Mental Skills Programme aims to give you State Control – to put you in control of your state of mind in every aspect of your life.
We are in the business of change. Trained Brain helps people to change the way they think, leading to lasting positive change in their lives.

“We sit there and think and prepare in the right way. I knew I wasn’t in the greatest form, and I thought I’ve got a way of getting out of that here; I’m going to hit my way into form. It’s an innings I’ve not played for a while”
